It goes without saying that this is a very important moment for the City of Mantua and the Lombardy Region, which will be able to communicate to the whole world the newfound safety and economic, social and tourist operations after the difficult months that have passed.
Around 300 drivers from 26 nations on the track. All the big names in the race. In MXGP he leads the Dutch Jeffrey Herlings (KTM) who has an advantage of 46 points over Tim Gajser (Honda) and of 40 points over the 9-time World Champion Antonio Cairoli (KTM), who will probably take advantage of his favorite circuit in 3 races. attack the brand mate. In MX2 the French Tom Vialle (KTM) is in the lead, who raced well in Mantua in February. In EMX250cc the French Benistant (Yamaha) is leading with 38 points on our Mattia Guadagnini (Husqvarna).
It was a mid-August work for me and my collaborators in order to define the details of this triple GP that is unprecedented on our track – explains MCM president Giovanni Pavesi – it is a great recognition for our Motoclub and for the entire city of Mantua, 9 days of full sports immersion will be made possible thanks to the support of the Mantuan institutions that have believed in this project that will bring tourism and work to the city. We are already working to create 3 different track layouts for the 3 GPs in the world to give a breathless show and to guarantee separate sectors, safe access, and distances to the public. I thank the FIM president Jorge Viegas who was in Mantua last year for the GP, the president Federmoto Giovanni Copioli, the promoter Infront Sport and of course the Mayor of Mantua Mattia Palazzi who made this unimaginable triptych possible “.
