The Tools of Communication A.C.C : Living is all about communication, especially now, that the world is in a diabolical state! The World is unfriendly, fast paced, and just recently a new virus, Covid-19, that the world was not ready for, and protests such as, the #MeToo movement and Black Lives Matter movement. These movements show communicating in a ‘battle’ of good versus evil, the injustice of the world, and others’ rights. Communication is through marches, and posters that can be shown through social media, News broadcasts, and other platforms. Governments around the world have to communicate to their countries’ public about the rules of living in lockdown and the rules of when lockdown, level 4 is moved to other levels. Become aware of yourself and what is happening in the world, You may have questions such as – what will this mean for my health, body? What are my next steps I need to take to keep myself safe? What is my life going to be like now? Why? So many questions will be rattling around in your head. There is no irrelevant question. All the questions you ask are relevant! Control:
“the power to influence, or direct people’s actions or the cause of events.”
No one person responds exactly the same when going through trauma., but how you take control of how the situation is affecting you by being strong and composed, Frank, straight up while talking with others who are leading your country, or in another power profession. A self Mantra is “I need to know what’s happening in the world and how it will affect me. I own my situation!“ Take charge of yourself to try and make life a little more bearable, by communicating with others, and surrounding yourself with those you love and can support each other through the situation. Crystal Clear:
Easy to perceive, understand, or interpret.
Make sure you write down how you are feeling, both emotionally and physically, because anxiety and stressors can manifest through physical ailments, it may be a good idea to keep a journal that you can use to write your feelings etc, so it will be easier to communicate to others in a crystal clear manner.
When communicating your worries, speak slowly and coherently, It can be useful to use statements that begin with “I feel,” or “I’m feeling, “this is what I have found to work.” when talking with others who may be able to help, such as your doctor, Healthline or your support people, that can be reached by phone, email etc. Tool of Communication
Take action by reaching out to others, that can help you feel that little more relaxed, and don’t be afraid to open up and ask help from others. Tool of Communication.
